We wanted to be owners of a business that would grow by increasing retail walk-in traffic as well as serving the needs of companies. Companies utilize molds that depict their logo/brand on to the chocolate. Chocolate made fresh daily is high quality and healthy - aligning to most company's principles, mission and values. We help to enhance the company's message to employees, customers and potential customers. Additionally we can place or tatoo images of the logo, company name etc. on the truffles. Every day our little shop is a destination for individuals and companies who need to say "Thank you", "Congratulations", "Sorry."...."and the greatest privilege of all is serving those needing to say "I love you and or marry me".

HOW WE DESCRIBE SUCCESS
Our family has a local small business that is successful because we make a great product right in our store. It is not shipped in. This allows us to be much different and in many ways better than some less-custom choices when one needs to “Say it with Chocolate”. Unlike flowers, cookies, pop-corn (as good as they can be) chocolate last for many months retaining its first day flavor. So.....a company can have their brand visible in Their customer or employee's work place or home for a long time.
It is great to have a process that works well for individuals and companies.
Folks get to do business with a local person – one where you actually know where they live. Additionally, the real secret is our employees come first in our business process so that customers can receive our very best. Very best means capable, smiling people who understand how to offer value and practical solutions for most every need.
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE WHO COME FIRST SO OUR CUSTOMERS CAN RECEIVE OUR BEST?
Our work family has a rich background in serving people:
lyssa - Extraordinary chocolatiers who know how to listen, serve, and find just the right sweet solutions. They were trained by the world's finest, trainers who shared their expertise and experience that started in Italy, grew to South America, then into the US in the mid-ninties.
Elise – Married to Marc for 10 years, she is very special and works in every area of the business when she is not at her main job at Vanderbilt or taking care of their son, Cole. Her undergrad is from Appalachian State and her Masters in Childhood Education is from Belmont . Her education plays an important part in the design of Kids Camps, birthday parties, etc.
Joy – Married to Ron for over 40 years, attended school at Western Kentucky and grew up in Owensboro, Ky. Joy has special merchandising and customer care skills.
Ron – Brings four decades of retail and commercial experience having managed retail stores and leading HR practices for organizations with over 2,000 stores and more than 20,000 employees. A graduate of the University of Alabama in Marketing with a minor in Art, then chose to join Firestone/Bridgestone. A Masters degree in Organizational Development from Bowling Green State University in Ohio helped position Ron for the current privilege of serving in a small neighborhood chocolate shop. There is talk of more locations once the Cool Springs operation experiences another year or two of its current growth.-
Marc –The owner/operator met Elise when her parents also lived in Carronbridge. Two kids who could not stay in their own yards eventually tied this marriage knot in 2002 once they finished their undergraduate degrees. Marc brings a degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene Texas. He has owned several businesses and loves to share how all that experience led to the current blessings of this great chocolate adventure.
Remember, almost every day many of us need to say thanks, congrats, sorry… and I love you.
