Our program provides 200 hours in the classroom and 100 hours in supervised practicum (300 total contact hours). What's the difference between a foot massage and foot reflexology?

A lot! Both feel great, but a knowledgeable certified reflexologist can zero in on the reflex areas that are showing the body may be out of balance. It's a whole body tune-up for the organs and glands, as well as a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience. POLLEN ALLERGIES - REFLEXOLOGY TO THE RESCUE!

Many folks are having seasonal allergy symptoms that are very strong this year. I would like to share some reflexology tips that may help. I was working on a friend a couple of days ago and we found several tender reflex points on her feet that I will describe below. After we finished, her face was visibly less puffy and her sinuses were less drippy. That night she reported finally being able to sleep. Here is what we found:

1. All around the toes - especially the third and fourth toes for eye and ear reflexes

2. On top of the great toe just under the nail bed - the face reflex area

3. Around the bend of the great toe - the throat area

4. The Spleen and Splenic Flexure area - below the ball of the left foot in line with the fourth and fifth toe. This makes sense since it relates to the overreacting immune system

5. I also worked the diaphragm and adrenal gland reflexes to relax and calm her body systems and give her a little boost.
